CZE + CH Hackathon/Ideathon

Event description

Look at Switzerland through Czech eyes. This is the subtitle of the first hackathon organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation in the Czech Republic.

The competition, which will start on June 27, 2023, is for all brave students across secondary and higher education institutions, not only from the Pilsen region, who are not afraid to measure their strength and skills in solving challenges with cross-border themes.

Participants of the hackathon will have 24 hours to propose, design and develop the best solution to the given challenge.

And beware, this time the main role will not be played by the technical solution, but by the creativity and originality of the solution. So don’t underestimate the composition of your team, so that you don’t miss developers and designers, but most importantly creatives, innovators and makers.

The best ones will have the opportunity to present their projects in front of representatives of the Swiss Embassy and representatives of the partners, who have prepared valuable prizes for the winners.

Overnight The event takes place overnight (Sleeping possible in a sleeping bag on site)
Teams Each high school may enter up to two student teams using the registration form below (Teams of 3 - 5 people).
Capacity Maximum capacity of the event is 10 teams
Jury The jury will be composed of 4 representatives of the organisers and partners, with one member from each organisation on the jury.
Evaluation criteria Idea, originality of solution, design, technical processing + satisfaction of the client
Entry fee 50,- Kč/person, payment by cash or card on the spot
